How to validate W3C Schema and DTD files

To validate W3C Schema files, usually files with an .xsd file extension, simply select one ore more W3C Schema documents (or DTDs) in the File Explorer window of XML ValidatorBuddy. This means you can validate W3C Schema files or DTDs with the same command and the same way you validate XML instance documents. After the validation has finished, a dialog appears with all results for each schema file validated. Using the results dialog you can click through all errors, warnings and other messages reported and open any file in the editor with a single click. This makes it easy to check a large number of schemas in less time.

You can also generate Schema documentation in HTML for one or multiple documents at once. Please take a look at the Help page Generating W3C Schema documentation to learn more about this feature.
